Data Engineer

Location: Sterling VA 20166

Job Description :

• Design and develop large and complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.
• Build highly scalable and extensible data marts and data models and integrate data from various sources.
• Maintain and improve existing ETL pipelines. Build high-performing data processing frameworks leveraging Google Cloud Platform and utilizing GCP Services like Big Query, Python, Composer, Dataflow.
• Build data support for experimentation efforts and solving problems. Build analytics and reporting tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide results and business value to make data-driven decisions.
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs. Build Dashboards using Tableau and Looker, and pivots by writing macros in Excel.
• Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requires Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related and 1 year experience. 1 year must include experience with ETL methods, GCP, Big Query, Python, Tableau, and Looker.
